Ancient Greece Mythology
There is truth to many aspects of Greek mythology, for example how natural things happened. Myths were a way to explain complicated concepts to people. In ancient Greek mythology there were three major gods-Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. There were 12 major gods that were allowed to sit in the throne room, but there were many other minor gods. All the gods represented real things such as the ocean, the sky, the harvest, the moon, the sun, war emotions, home, and the underworld. There were also 12 major Titans. The Titans fought to overthrow the Greek gods. There were also giants and each one of these giants was designed to oppose one of the gods. The Giant that was to oppose Ares,, who is the God of war, was the giant of peace who doesn't often fight. Each of the gods, Titans and monsters and the Giants all came from Gaea and Uranus. The Greeks actually believe that these gods Titans and monsters and giants did exist. The gods and monsters explained the mysteries of their time.
Prometheus and the fire
This was a folly because of how Prometheus ended up chained to a rock and had a vulture eat his liver out every day. This all started because Prometheus felt bad for the humans, so he decided to steal the fire from the gods and give it to mankind. When the gods found out, they captured Prometheus and chained him to a rock so an eagle would come and eat his liver out every day. They also made it so his liver would come back every day, and this would happen again and again and again.
